Mission: Our object is to guarantee bike accessibility to Detroit streets and neighborhoods without judicial or law enforcement incursion. It is our desire to promote safe biking, economical tranportation and to encourage healthy living. Along with, transforming our city's infrastructure to make it bike technology ready. We will engage in bike-a-thons, bike safety behaviors and public policy procedures which foster community building, Pan-Human activities and bike friendly community.

  • Bike Riders United will have their organizing meeting at Avalon Bakery On Willis St. at Cass St.on Thursday July 24, 2008 @ 12:00pm.
  • The Justice Bike-a-Thon will be held on Friday, Aug. 1, 2008 @ 12:00pm (rain date: Monday, Aug. 4, 2008) and will start in the Eastern Market (across from Bert's at 2727 Russell St.) and end in front of the Ford Auditorium downtown Detroit
  • Attend City Council Public Hearing July 28, 2008 @ 10:00am Coleman A. Young Municipal Center on the 13th floor(Contact Ron for further information.)
